Circus Britanica (June 2011)

A new play by Shaun McCarthy, exploring immigration and xenophobia set within an ageing British circus. This production transferred to Theatre 503 in London.

Waiting for Lefty (March 2011)

A new production of Clifford Odets' political play. Set in 1930s New York, this production transformed the theatre into the meeting room for an angry union meeting.

Serendip (November 2010)

A new play by Sam Randall. Set in the 1940s Exeter blitz and moving forward to the present day, this play explored women's bonds to one another through tragedy.

The Magic Flute (October 2010)

A 1920s version of Mozart's classic singspiel, with a jazz score by Katherine Brooks and a new libretto by Elaine Ruth White.

A Midsummer Night's Dream (September 2010)

Shakespeare's classic comedy was chosen to open our new performance space, primarily using actors who had worked with us on previous productions. The play was moved to the Exeter Northcott due to delays in opening the new performance space.

Beanfield (June 2010)

A new play by Shaun McCarthy. Written to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Battle of the Beanfield, following the lives of those caught up in the events and their aftermath. This production transferred to the Tobacco Factory in Bristol.

Still (April 2010)

A new play by Steve Lambert. An intense thriller in which a man picks up a hitch-hiker and takes her to his secret childhood hideaway by the river. Ten years later, they return as bones are washed up on the riverbank.
