Le Foulard by Lucy Hopkins
Lucy Hopkins is trying to tell a story. A love story, that more or less really happened.
Featuring a myriad of characters, a very large scarf, and a personal love of a show-stopping song, Le Foulard is a dark and funny tale of love, loss, and being a unique, shining being of light.
British artist Lucy Hopkins moved to Paris in 2004 where she spent three years studying at L’Ecoles Jacques Lecoq and Philippe Gaulier. Her work draws from the best of performance art, storytelling and physical theatre to create original and engaging performances. Her first solo show, Impossible N’est Pas Français or There’s No Such Word As Can’t won the Inspiration Award at the Prague Fringe Festival in 2011. Le Foulard is her second production.
A tale, of sorts. Starring a woman, and a scarf. Featuring an artist and a love of a show-stopping song.
Winner of the Prague Fringe Festival Creative Award 2012
