David co-founded The Bike Shed Theatre in 2010, having trained as an actor and director in Exeter. In the first three years of the organisation’s history, he directed most of the productions, focussing on new writing. He has just completed a Clore Leadership Fellowship.
David leads the organisation and curates the programme. He is managing the capital project for the creation of the Boat Shed. He can be contacted here.
Kelly joined The Bike Shed Theatre in 2015, having worked for Soho Theatre, the Royal Court, MJE Productions and, most recently, Exeter Phoenix. Alongside her work for the Bike Shed, she is a consultant for Kaleider.
Kelly leads on Communications and Strategy for the Bike Shed, as well as overseeing the operations of the organisation. She can be contacted here.
Bérengère Ariaudo De Castelli
Bérengère (AKA ‘B’) joined The Bike Shed Theatre full-time in 2017 having volunteered since 2016. She has previously worked for Playful Productions, DV8 Physical Theatre, National Theatre Productions and Theatre Royal Stratford East and co-founded London Grey & Green Theatre Company for whom she still consults.

Justine joined The Bike Shed Theatre in 2011, having graduated from the University of Exeter. She initially worked in the theatre in technical and directing roles, before moving behind the bar. In 2015, Justine became Bar Manager. She has a passion for cocktails and unusual spirits, and is often found behind the bar tinkering and trying out new things.

Marketing and Sales Officer
Alex joined The Bike Shed Theatre in 2015, having completed a Digital Apprenticeship at social enterprise Cosmic, where he subsequently worked. Alex has a strong interest in theatre and is involved in several amateur theatre groups in East Devon.

Emily Souter Johnson
Artist Development Producer
Emily joined The Bike Shed Theatre in 2016, having worked for various festivals and arts organisation in Bristol and London. Emily initially trained as a fine artist but now performs comedy, clowning and cabaret.
