We like to ensure that everyone feels welcome at our venue and we’ll do whatever we can to meet any access needs you might have. We are based in a cellar with 10 steps down into the entrance. Once in the building there is level access to the theatre and spaces for wheelchair users can be reserved. If you need any assistance, just let us know in advance and we’ll make sure someone is on hand to help. We’ll happily give carers or assistants complimentary tickets and we also offer concession rate tickets to anyone with a disability.
Throughout the year, we programme a number of Relaxed Performances. Often described as “the opposite of the quiet carriage on a train”, a Relaxed Performance is for people who may find it difficult to be seated or quiet during the performance and would enjoy a less formal environment. This might include someone with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, sensory or communication disorder or learning disability.
If you’d like information on forthcoming Relaxed Performances or would like to discuss your visit and access requirements, please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01392 434169.
