Join Apples and Snakes for an explosive mix of spoken word every first Sunday of alternate months at The Bike Shed Theatre, hosted by Malaika Kegode.

Featuring Rob Auton, recently crowned by The Guardian as ‘The Brian Cox of Comedy’ his, thinking shows, filled with poetic wonderment, come to life with comically sophisticated, somewhat surreal performances. From Fringe festival conqueror to London Soho stages, Rob Auton will leave you short of breath whilst mulling over the meaning of it all.

With support from Antosh Wojcik, currently resident artist at The Roundhouse, and a member of London-based poetry collectives Kid Glove and Burn After Reading. A regular festival performer including, Poetry&Words Glastonbury, Latitude and Bestival, as well as internationally.

Plus, Exeter Poetry Slam Champion 2015, Amani Z Saeed, whose work has been described by Tim King, Taking The Mic as ‘strident, confident, brave and beautiful’. And we’ve got the, slam winner from November, and poetry-short film selection!
